Economic Development Strategy - Traveston Crossing/Mary Valley Area

The Queensland Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers to prepare an Economic Development Strategy for the area surrounding the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam.

The Strategy is informing government decisions about policy and services to support economic development in the Traveston Crossing / Mary Valley area.

The Strategy provides practical, realistic and achievable opportunities for economic development within this area.

This study considers both the opportunities currently presenting within the area, as well as those which may arise from construction of the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam.
