The Community Futures Task Force is working with communities affected by the proposed Traveston Crossing and Wyaralong dams.
The role of the Task Force is to address the immediate effects of the decision to build the dams and develop strategies and approaches in relation to health, social issues, property issues, business impacts and industry adjustment. (More)
The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries investigated the potential impact of the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam on the northern dairy region and Mary Valley sub-region; and identified future scenarios for the local dairy industry. More

The guidelines of the Community Futures Fund have been amended to include minor capital expenditure, repairs and maintenance items as eligible items. The Fund supports community activities in the areas affected by the Queensland Government's decisions to develop the proposed Traveston Crossing and Wyalarong Dams. More
As Kandanga Cemetery will be affected by the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam, the Task Force has examined the options available to relatives who have loved ones in the cemetery.
